The Haven Therapy Group is a team of psychotherapists serving the Richmond Hill and Greater Toronto Area. We’re honoured to support you on your journey toward renewed self-love and healthier relationships.

💡 Booking

New clients begin with a 15-minute New Client Consultation. A brief screening questionnaire will be sent to complete prior to the appointment.

To book: - Create a client profile with your contact details and reason for seeking support - A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve sessions

We do not offer direct billing; receipts are provided for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

For Saturday-Monday appointments”, notice must be given by 5:00 PM EST on Friday. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.

In-person sessions must be booked by contacting us directly. Location details will be shared once confirmed.

Payment is required before sessions. Accepted methods: e-Transfer (preferred), debit, credit card.

Michelle is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFCT) through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). She is also a Registered Naturopathic Doctor with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), bringing a unique integrative perspective to her therapeutic work.

AREAS OF FOCUS Michelle works with couples, families, and individuals experiencing relationship distress or seeking deeper connection. She welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds and life stages, and work with clients managing issues including:

LANGUAGES Michelle is fluent in English and Cantonese.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Michelle completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University before attending the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), where she received the Richard McCrorie Award in 2009 for outstanding compassion and integrity in patient care.

While practicing as a naturopathic doctor, she became increasingly aware of the profound impact of trauma and relational disconnection on overall well-being. This insight inspired her transition into psychotherapy. She completed her Master of Divinity degree at Tyndale University in 2021, where she deepened her understanding of how relationships, meaning-making, and emotional healing are interconnected.
